According to Apple’s release notes, the update fixes an issue that caused Air Port base stations from appearing in the Air Port Utility when Back to My Mac is enabled. The firmware updates can be installed using the Air Port Utility app for i OS or OS X.I note that the latest firmware update has enabled full bridge mode.Does anyone know if the Pace V5542 can be used in full bridge mode PPPo E with an Airport Extreme (that does not do VLAN tagging) with UFB? For some reason, I cannot seem to find the express on the phone, it just sees my Named Network. It has features to hook up a USB External HDD drive to it.I made a mistake last Thursday evening: upgraded my Air Port Extreme base station’s firmware to 7.6.3.Until Sunday afternoon WAN routing stopped three times (for which I first blamed our ISP), but when Wi Fi is also stopped last afternoon I decided to go back to the very well behaving 7.6.1. Scott said: downgrading is easy, finding the file – that’s hard. This update process will not affect your settings either, so you can rest assured your network will be back to how it was before the update. At this point in time, it’s unclear what route Apple is taking in regard to its wireless routers.Recently, it even came to light that Apple’s lineup of routers has the highest customer satisfaction rating.
